Mr. Fruct obtained his two Bachelors degrees in Civil and Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering in California. Throughout his career, Mr. Fruct has performed forensic investigations and practiced and supervised the design and construction of numerous engineering projects consisting of new construction, modifications to existing features, and damage repairs from the initial client contact through the completion of construction. He has coordinated efforts of structural, mechanical, electrical, surveying, and drafting department personnel to produce concise, constructible design concepts and accurate construction drawings and specifications. His project experience includes civil/structural engineering design and analysis for energy industry, industrial, commercial, and public sector projects. Mr. Fruct’s forensic engineering experience includes in-depth condition surveys and damage inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, and facility components. He has provided engineering consulting services for projects in the United States, Canada, Europe, South America, Asia and New Zealand.
Mr. Fruct represents the complete Civil/ Structural Engineer, possessing a rich background in design, construction, code expertise, accessibility expertise, knowledge of steel, concrete, and timber structural systems, building envelope, building mechanical and electrical systems, forensic engineering, liability investigations, project management, construction expertise, expert testimony and investigative skills.
