Mr. Ather is a graduate of Iowa State University with a M.S. in Structural Engineering. Mr. Ather’s background includes responsibility for the design and detailing functions of various building projects of prefabricated building manufacturer. He has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, institutional and residential construction projects. Additionally, Mr. Ather has experience with field investigation work regarding code compliance issues, as well as, assessment of building damages and losses due to weather conditions, construction or design defects, and foundation settlement.
Mr. Ather has experience performing cause and origin failure analysis, investigation, and forensic engineering pertaining to various civil/structural engineering related systems, including residential and commercial structures, soils, retaining structures, concrete, masonry, roofing failures and compliance issues, building components, waterproofing details, construction materials, building codes, storm damage, water infiltration damage, vibration damage analysis, construction method and contract performance disputes, and structural salvageability.
