Mr. Bourgeois obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Louisiana. Mr. Bourgeois began his professional career working with the design of oilfield equipment and is currently a forensic engineer. Throughout his career, Mr. Bourgeois has performed forensic investigations and supervised the performance of numerous engineering projects ranging from failure analysis, design and recertification. He has coordinated efforts of mechanical, electrical, and engineering personnel to produce concise, design concepts, manufacturing drawings and specifications. His project experience includes mechanical engineering design and analysis for mechanical and oilfield related projects. His professional memberships include the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Mr. Bourgeois has experience in the forensic engineering field including failure analysis of various types of mechanical equipment including automotive components, heavy equipment, plumbing systems and oilfield pipe handling equipment.
He has provided engineering consulting services for projects in the United States and has been awarded a United States Patent for oilfield related products.
