U.S. Forensic’s engineering laboratory services provide our clients with information on the cause and origin of a component or appliance failure and subrogation potential. Within our U.S. Forensic lab, our engineers conduct testing to determine if the component or appliance in question has contributed to the accident, loss, or failure.
Items such as plumbing components, water filters, small appliances, electrical components, and tires can be shipped to our laboratory for a comprehensive evaluation.
U.S. Forensic’s laboratory is equipped with various equipment including x-ray machines, microscopes, and borescopes, and other testing equipment. The x-ray equipment can be used for non-destructive testing of failed components and tires, and can assist in identifying hidden evidence in melted debris after a fire.
If you have a component or small appliance that requires laboratory testing, please access our Engineering Lab Packet for more information and the required forms.
