Mr. Spyrou is a licensed Professional Engineer with licenses in multiple states and over 15 years experience. The first 9 years entailed work as a structural engineer on the design of new residential, commercial and industrial projects as well as numerous renovation projects. These designs utilized all types of material including wood, steel, concrete and aluminum. Further, experience includes work in forensic structural investigations. Engineer of Record for hundreds of the above mentioned construction type projects, all of which involved a tremendous amount of work with Architects, Contractors and Developers and included maintaining client relationships.
The past nearly 6 years have been as the Sr. Director of Engineering for Four Seasons Solar Products managing the entire Engineering Group. This work involves managing the New Product Development process, Project Management, supervising the structural calculations and drawing support for our products, ensuring code compliance on a national and local level, code modifications, code approvals such as ES reports and Florida Product Approval, the coordination of Testing and Certification to name a few. This also includes meeting with many building departments in an effort to address code issues that they have about the Four Seasons products and P&L responsible for the department along with a proven track record of success.
