Asher is a very intelligent and thoughtful engineer, but I think his unique attribute is that he’s a huge fountain of positive energy. Asher sees the positive aspects and opportunities in every situation and his enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. He is an honest caring person, outgoing, and very easy to talk to. As a result, he’s a very good teacher and can really rally people together.” – Bill Janowsky, Principal Engineer
Getting to Know Asher
Who, in history, would you most like to meet over dinner?
“So many to choose from, but one of my favorites would be Nikola Tesla”
What was the best place you’ve traveled and why?
“Hard to name a “best” place because every travel experience has been so unique based on what I was doing there and who I was with. I distinctly remember the smell of the bakeries during the early morning hours in Rome, the cascading waterfalls of the Ein Gedi Reserve near the Dead Sea in Israel, and watching massive elk casually crossing the roadway in the small and quiet mountain town of Lincoln, Montana.”
What do you enjoy outside of work?
“I currently spend much of my time outside of work hours enjoying my 2 little angels. Anyone with kids can attest to what life is like during those early years – the challenges and rewards alike. In addition to sharing with my little guys, I love a good BBQ with friends and family. And when it comes to BBQ, if it ain’t done right, it ain’t worth the bite.”
What is something that people may not know about you?
“For the past 20 or so years, I have had the great privilege of sharing my love of all things Afro-Latin percussion with musical friends at gatherings and performing at various events.”
What has been your experience working at U.S. Forensic?
- “Firstly, the leadership team of USF has always supported and encouraged hard work and dedication to the craft. One’s “ceiling” at USF is essentially what you want it to be. As many have unfortunately learned in their work environments, there are situations that exist where growth can be stunted by poor management, bureaucracy, and power struggle.
- Secondly, is the aspect of independence. From day one, I was always given the opportunity to operate in an autonomous manner, all the while having great mentors around me to draw knowledge from.
- Finally, USF is comprised of many different experts with different areas of expertise and levels of experience, but what unites us is the common standard that we continually seek to uphold.”

Asher’s gift is communication. Our clients appreciate that he takes the time to call and clarify the scope of an assignment. He interviews the property owners to get an understanding of their concerns and their appreciation of what may have caused a particular concern at the property and then issues a comprehensive written report that clearly states the cause, extent and repair requirements of any observed damages. If requested he will also provide expert witness testimony to further explain his observations and conclusions.”
