Mark Droubie, ACTAR

Accident Reconstructionist

Mr. Droubie is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. His professional experience includes design and test engineering, vehicle development, durability testing, failure analysis and corrosion mitigation. He has extensive experience in mechanical, fuel, electrical, cooling and hydraulic systems. He also has training and experience in construction, commercial lighting service and installation, and electronic circuit board manufacturing.

As a Professional Engineer at U.S. Forensic, Mr. Droubie specializes in the investigation of motor vehicle crashes. His expertise includes the areas of vehicle dynamics, vehicle performance, skid-to-stop distances, time-space relationship, and driver reaction times. Mr. Droubie performs investigation and reconstruction of high and low-speed motor vehicle accidents involving passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and ATV’s.

Mr. Droubie also performs forensic engineering and failure analysis on a variety of mechanical and structural assignments including internal combustion engines, commercial equipment, electrical systems and marine propulsion systems. His failure analysis experience also includes HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, roof systems, building envelopes and plumbing.
