Puerto Rico’s Recovery – Hurricane Maria
Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc in Puerto Rico on September 17, 2017 as a Category 5 hurricane. It was the deadliest hurricane in more than 100 years to hit Puerto Rico with just under 3000 deaths. Even though it’s been more than 4 years, power outages are still frequent and the rebuilding effort is nowhere near complete.
