We are pleased to announce that Mr. Kenneth (Joey) Krefft, Jr., P.E., has joined the U.S. Forensic team in Lafayette, Louisiana. Mr. Krefft obtained his Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Marketing from Louisiana State University and A&M College in Baton Rouge. He is a registered professional engineer in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
Civil Engineering
Prior to joining U.S. Forensic, Mr. Krefft served as project engineer for various engineering design and construction projects. His experience includes structural engineering design of industrial, oil and gas, educational, infrastructure, recreational and sporting, commercial, and medical facilities using various materials such as hot-rolled & cold-formed steel, aluminum, concrete, masonry, and timber. In addition to facility design, Mr. Krefft is experienced in drainage, roadway, and bridge design and construction. He has completed multiple public projects.
Environmental, Health, and Safety
Mr. Krefft is experienced in environmental, health, and safety assessments. He has conducted OSHA-compliant lifting & rigging analyses, fall protection, & safety design for various industrial facilities.
Professional & Honorary Memberships & Awards
Mr. Krefft serves as a State Director on the Board of Direction for the Louisiana Engineering Society and has been a member on various state committees. He has served as chapter president for both the Lafayette and Shreveport chapters and is currently the Lafayette past-president for the second time. In addition, Mr. Krefft is a member of the engineering honor societies, Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon, and previously has been awarded the 2010 F. Hugh Coughlin Young Engineer and 2014 Charles M. Kerr Public Relations Awards by the Louisiana Engineering Society. He is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
