We are pleased to announce that Jon Robertson, P.E., has joined the U.S. Forensic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Robertson obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina.
Civil/Structural Engineering Experience
Mr. Robertson’s professional experience includes construction oversite, civil engineering research and regulatory compliance verification. As project manager for a large pharmaceutical company, he also oversaw systems and equipment to ensure that they operated as expected and were compliant with FDA requirements. His forensic experience includes analysis to identify the root cause of damage or failure.
With U.S. Forensic, Mr. Roberson will be performing structural evaluations and inspecting damage caused by storms, floods, fires, construction defects, soil subsidence, and long-term neglect. His evaluations will include residential and commercial buildings. He will assess various building systems including roofing, foundations, and building envelopes.
Leadership & Professional Affiliations
Mr. Robertson earned the honor of Eagle Scout. He served as an officer in the student chapters of the Association of General Contractors and Chi Epsilon. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, University Scholars Program, the student chapter of the National Home Builders Association, and is a current member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
