Civil/Structural Engineer in Alabama

We are pleased to announce that Christopher Sewell, P.E. has joined the U.S. Forensic team as a structural expert in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mr. Sewell holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. He is a registered professional engineer in Alabama and Mississippi.
Engineering Experience
As an Engineer in Alabama, Mr. Sewell’s professional experience includes coordination and construction oversite of new construction, building renovations and maintenance efforts for municipalities. In relation to transportation engineering, Mr. Sewell has experience with roadway design, maintenance, construction, and environmental efforts. He managed the Intelligent Transportation System for the department of transportation which utilizes technology to provide traffic controls throughout the region and improved traffic in emergency situations such as evacuations.
Forensic Engineering Role in Alabama & Mississippi
With U.S. Forensic, Mr. Sewell will be evaluating the cause and origin of failures and damages of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. He will analyze roofing systems, foundations, and construction defects and damages to determine cause. In vehicle cases, he will evaluate roadway design, construction, and maintenance factors to determine contributions to a loss or collision.
