U.S. Forensic Assists in Relief Efforts
Our Louisiana and Texas communities are in much need in the wake of Hurricane Laura. Thousands are still without power and drinkable water. Meeting basic food, water, and emergency needs are very difficult for those in Calcasieu and surrounding parishes. U.S. Forensic is assisting with the relief efforts by donating time, supplies, and meals.
Because of the hard work of our staff and the continued support of our clients, we have been able to provide a total of 115,000 meals to help families impacted by the pandemic and Hurricane Laura. Just last week, U.S. Forensic donated $10,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank which will provide meals for the communities most impacted by Hurricane Laura. At the onset of the Covid-19 crisis, U.S. Forensic began donating meals to local Second Harvest Food Banks and Feeding America, an organization that provides food across the country to those most in need.
Ways You Can Help
In addition to the monetary contributions made by U.S. Forensic, many of our staff members have contributed to the Hurricane Laura relief efforts. They have assisted by volunteering, collecting and donating supplies, and offering their personal funds to help the recovery efforts in Southwest Louisiana. If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer or would like to make a donation, you may visit United Way or Second Harvest‘s websites for more information.
