Mr. Staley is a graduate of Norwich University with a Master of Civil Engineering Degree with a specialization in structural engineering and an undergraduate degree in Natural Science/Mathematics from Thomas Edison State University. Mr. Staley’s background includes responsibility for the technical design and construction document preparation for various structures including commercial, industrial, aerospace, theme park, and residential.
Mr. Staley possesses the unique combination of civil, structural, and geotechnical experience to evaluate structural systems. He also has experience performing cause and origin failure analysis, investigation, and forensic engineering pertaining to structural systems including residential and commercial structures, soils, retaining structures, concrete, masonry, steel, light gauge steel, roof diaphragms and lateral systems, and building codes. Mr. Staley is also trained to assess roof damage to most major types of residential steep slope roofs, including wind and hail, and can evaluate installation, weathering, maintenance, mechanical damages and repair costs of asphalt composition, wood shingle/shake, concrete, clay tile, and asbestos-fiber cement roof coverings.
