Mr. Buddhin Wijegunawardana, M.Sc., P.E., has 26 years of experience in civil and structural engineering forensic, design, and construction fields. This experience involves Forensic Engineering, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction. Canal and Pump Station Construction, Bridge and Road construction, Traffic Engineering and Transportation planning, Design and Construction of community water supply schemes.
The structures related to the above mentioned experience consisted of both concrete and steel type frames and wood components. His experience also covers expert witness support and investigative review, which has involved more than 1300 individual investigations during more than 13 years. Mr. Wijegunawardana’s expert witness, support experience also involves calculation development and research.
In addition, he assisted in environmental impact assessments and Design Built Projects in Florida and Sri Lanka. These projects typically involved civil and structural assistance in order to determine the best course of action. Further involvement included detailed civil and structural design and support in a challenging environment. This included extensive analytical computation, drawing development and preparation, construction, field observation, and direction.
