Mr. Reyes is a graduate of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, TX with a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a HAAG Certified Inspector for residential and commercial roofs.
Mr. Reyes is an experienced forensic engineer with seven years of experience in the property loss industry. He has experience with damage causation and origin analysis. He is skilled in nonlinear analysis and numerical simulations. He conducts storm damage evaluations, identifies the cause and origin of damages including defective materials, systems, and construction. He provides repair replacement recommendations for building materials and systems. Mr. Reyes is proficient in the Xactimate software and estimates property damages from storm, fire, or builder defects.
As it relates to construction defect and building damage investigations, Mr. Reyes applies the standards and engineering practices for various civil engineering projects. He assesses and provides calculations for structures affected by vibration and/or explosion damage.
