Luis Torres, P.E.

Mr. Torres obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, and is a registered professional engineer in Florida and Puerto Rico. He has experience as a construction project manager with more than 20 years of experience in planning, directing, costing, and overseeing multi-million-dollar construction projects from concept to completion. He has vast experience as a project manager and superintendent in general contracting, enhancing his leadership, dispute resolution, and problem-solving skills. He managed the construction administration division for a Florida-based engineering firm and designed engineered structural and civil repairs for contractors with a special focus on construction defect repair / rebuild. His experience is in both residential and structural design from ground-up and from damage/defect assessment up. He has extensive experience in coastal properties due to his structural engineering experience in Florida and Puerto Rico. He is proficient in Planswift costing software and RS Mean price comparison software and has experience working with Florida and Puerto Rico subcontractors and suppliers. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
