Mr. Versace is a graduate of Purdue University with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Versace’s background includes responsibility for the design, detailing, and construction administration functions of various building projects as a structural engineer consultant. He has extensive experience with commercial, residential, institutional and hospitality design projects. Additionally, Mr. Versace has experience with building envelope components, as well as, assessment of building damage due to weather conditions and construction or design defects.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Versace’s responsibilities include performing forensic investigations of structural related failures to residential and commercial structures. Responsibilities primarily involve the following: Inspection of roofing, flooring, and building envelope damage (exterior wall finishes, windows, glazing systems); Inspection of waterproofing details, construction materials, storm damage, water infiltration damage, vibration damage analysis, construction methods and contract performance disputes; Investigation of building code compliance issues; Determination of cause and origin of these respective damages and issue reports to the clients with the findings obtained from the investigation and analysis of the project.
