Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of the University of Florida with a M.E. in Civil Engineering. His background includes responsibility for the structural design of various structural projects for civil / structural engineering consulting firms. The projects he has managed include commercial, multi-use, industrial, wastewater and marine construction projects. Mr. Rodriguez has experience with field investigation work regarding renovations, threshold inspection and water intrusion mitigation.
As Project Manager of the structural design of construction projects, Mr. Rodriguez has participated in computer modeling; design of structural elements per Code; coordinated design obstacles with Architects, Contractors, and Engineering of many disciplines; coordinated the production of CAD drawings by delegation to Drafters; participated in value engineering tasks; performed threshold inspections; and provided construction field fixes for Contractor; utilizing computer programming to automate structural designs and detailing, cost estimates, bills of material, cut charts, and planning of manufacturing processes.
During graduate school, Mr. Rodriguez participated in a research program with the University of Florida in mitigating damage to structures from wind, monitoring hurricane wind activity, and conducting computer simulations of hurricane wind forces on structures for modeling purposes. Mr. Rodriguez is experienced in the analysis of structures for wind and seismic loading.
