Habeeb O. Alabi, M.Sc., P.E.

Mr. Alabi Obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville. He also earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Ohio University with a concentration in structural analysis. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Illinois and Missouri.
Mr. Alabi has over 10 years of structural engineering experience with expertise in the design of structural systems, including reinforced concrete, post-tensioning and steel with budgets ranging from $1 to $10 million. He has performed key roles on major structural projects providing engineering calculations, technical specifications and design criteria. He is well versed in inspecting, evaluating and analyzing the defects of existing concrete and steel structures to determine structural integrity.
Mr. Alabi has extensive bridge construction expertise as well as retrofitting and rehabilitation of existing structures including highway bridges, foundations and retaining walls. In addition to his construction inspection expertise, he has also load rated several bridges to determine the safe load carrying capacity of the components and elements.
As a U.S. Forensic engineering consultant, Mr. Alabi assesses damage to residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. He determines the cause and extent of damages and whether they are attributable to a construction or materials defect, weather event, or deferred maintenance. He inspects roofing systems, foundations, cases involving water intrusion, and structural failures to determine the cause and origin of the damage.
