Mr. Blount obtained a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Blount is a registered professional engineer in Alabama and Florida and is an Alabama Qualified Credentialed Inspector. Mr. Blount has experience with structural engineering analysis, design, and detailing and structural condition assessments and failure analysis of various types of structures as well as construction project management.
