Mr. Semioli is a 1996 graduate of Penn State University and is a registered professional engineer in civil engineering in 5 states. His work has included forensic engineering inspections of disaster zones, site and land development of private property, geometric design of urban roads and highways, rail track design, storm and sanitary system design, due diligence investigations for attorneys, and expert witness services.
Mr. Semioli is a professional with a long experience overseeing structural design, material evaluation and controlled inspections. Field and laboratory specialties include soils analysis, foundation and structural design reviews, soils classifications, sub grade evaluation for foundations design and structural support. His experience includes nuclear gage controlled compaction tests, concrete reinforcing steel inspection, structural steel, welding & bolting over sight, concrete, masonry, coring analysis under DOT and DDC specifications in addition to fire stopping and fire proofing inspections. Mr. Semioli provides total support in all aspects of project management from inception to completion according to Building Code requirements.
Mr. Semioli is the Laboratory Director of C.M. Testing Laboratory, Inc. a construction material (concrete, geotechnical, asphalt, masonry) testing laboratory firm based in Garden City Park, New York providing leadership in the conduct and development of programs and services that respond to the internal quality system. Duties include reviewing reports in all aspects of inspections, including soil, concrete, asphalt and special inspections. Coordinates the activities of and provide professional assistance to the supervisors, laboratory technicians, and field technicians. Participates closely with management to develop and implement all responsibilities of the staff. Reviews the Quality Control manual semiannually to annually to identify any needed changes to keep it current.
Mr. Semioli has supervised several tests on many construction materials performed in different laboratories as part of auditing requirements for which he was retained by private and state and governmental agencies. He is familiar with the processes of shop drawings related to reinforcing and structural steel applying ACI, CRSI, AISC, ASTM etc. in addition to all applicable standards and codes stated in the NY State and NY City building Codes.
