Mr. Graham is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BS in Civil Engineering and i s a
licensed professional engineer i n 20 states with 30 years of experience i n engineering. He has
extensive design experience with wood, structural and cold-formed steel, masonry, and
concrete structures. Projects have i nclude single and multi-family housing, dental and medical
offices, branch banks, big box retail stores, multi-story steel-framed office buildings, multi-story
concrete-framed hotel and condominium buildings, and overland conveyor systems with belts
up to 72 inches wide and truss spans of up to 200 feet.
Mr. Graham has designed a 20,000 square foot structure to withstand EF5 tornadoes. He has
experience with foundation systems i ncluding steel H and pipe piles, timber and composite
timber piles, straight and belled concrete piers, GeoPiers and spread footings. He has
completed projects using Canadian, European and US Codes. These projects have i ncluded
hurricane-prone regions, high seismic areas and sub-arctic areas. He has used the following
software packages: STAAD, RISA 3D, Enercalc, Woodworks, Revit, Advance Steel, AutoCAD,
and Adapt. Mr. Graham has completed structural evaluations using i nfrared cameras, failure
analysis of roofs and walls, and performed construction administration and observations. Earlier
in his career, he conducted air monitoring on asbestos abatement projects. He also acted as
the site engineer on projects i n the Airport Operations Area of airports i n the US and completed
federally-mandated background checks.
